Walk through history, observe fascinating wildlife firsthand, and discover everything that makes Brays Island so unique.

The Nature Center at Brays Island offers a unique and fascinating glimpse into the development of the plantation. The rooms are filled with artifacts and pictures that tell the story of Brays Island as well as numerous wildlife specimens—both preserved and live exhibits—that call it home.

The Nature Center also offers custom private nature programs for Brays Island owners. Tailored to your group’s specific needs, these programs typically run from one to four hours and can include a wide range of activities, such as birding, crabbing, and kayak excursions. Our resident naturalist, Bruce Lampright will draw out the explorer in anyone as he leads you into the glorious depths of our 3,500 undeveloped acres.

Open seven days a week for owners to visit, learn, and enjoy.
